King Manor Dr. Building Fire

Yesterday morning Upper Merion Twp. Fire and EMS and Quint 27 from the Norristown Fire Department were dispatched to the unit block of King Manor Dr. for a Commercial Building Fire. A busy start of the year for Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company continues. This morning at approximately 1:30 AM Squirt 56 was dispatched with the Bridgeport Fire Department for an Apartment Building Fire at Bridgeport Suits. Ice Rescue Training

This past week, Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company hosted a Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Ice Rescue & Emergency Response Technician class taught by Keystone Water Rescue Inc. Six members from Swedesburg were joined by members from King Of Prussia Fire Company, Swedeland Fire Company, Upper Merion Township Career Staff and Norristown Fire Department. Busy Weekend

Swedesburg Volunteers have been kept busy since Friday morning. On Friday alone, members responded to seven different calls for service. On Saturday members responded to another three calls including a working fire at the Red Lobster on W. Dekalb Pike shortly before midnight.
