"The Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company was founded in 1942 for the purpose of protecting and serving the village of Swedesburg and all surrounding communities of Upper Merion Township. To respond quickly and effectively to any and all emergencies and requests for assistance. The volunteer men and women of the Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company will always endeavor to perform their duty of protecting the lives and property of the community with pride and honor."

Santa Is Coming to Town!

Santa is coming to town twice in the next few weeks with the Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company!
Sunday December 15th Santa will make his stop at Swedesburg for the Yearly Breakfast with Santa. Doors open at 8:00 AM till noon or till food lasts. Montgomery County Burn Ban

The Montgomery County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution enacting a 30-day countywide ban on open fires, effective Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 12:00 p.m.

Sweet Briar Smoke Detector Blitz followed by Dryer Fire

This weekend members worked with the American Red Cross in the Sweet Briar area of the township doing another Smoke Detector Blitz. Members helped install 119 smoke detectors in the area which undoubtedly will save lives and make Upper Merion safer. 2 Alarm Fire in Bridgeport Borough

Shortly before 3am Swedesburg Fire Company was dispatched to Bridgeport Borough for a structure fire that was upgraded to a 2nd alarm fire. Upon arrival Squirt 56 secured another water supply and supplied Quint 54. Squirt 56’s crew assisted with checking for extension, ventilation, and over haul.
