Last night shortly after 10:30PM Pipeline and Rescue 49 were dispatched to assist the Conshohocken Fire Dept. on the 2nd Alarm Building Fire Assignment. CFD units arrived to the Fine Grinding Corp. on the 200 Blk. of E. Elm St. to an active fire burning in a dust hopper. Pipeline and Chief 49 (J. Recupido) responded with a crew of 4, while Rescue 49 (K. Curll) responded with a crew of 2. Once on scene the combined crews of the Pipeline and Rescue assisted with final overhaul of the dust hopper. Rescue 49 also filled approximately 30 SCBA bottles. 49 Units were clear and back in station by 1:00 AM. Good job by all last night!
