Last evening members headed to the SIMS Metal Management yard on River Rd. to demo new rescue tools. MESFire was on hand to demonstrate the Hurst EDraulic line of rescue tools. Members were able to practice using the tools on 4 different cars.

At this past Monday’s King of Prussia Rotary Club's meeting, Crew Chief Nick Sturz was awarded their Annual Firefighter of the Year Award. Crew Chief Sturz started as a Junior Member with the company 6 years ago and has now elevated to Crew Chief.

Last night members of the Swedeburg Vol. Fire Co. headed out to the new Mission BBQ in Upper Merion for their Firefighters Appreciation Night. All of the proceeds of last night went to the Montgomery County Hero Fund.
